It was purchased new from Verizon in 2020. Tomato is an app for diabetics that allows remote sharing of FreeStyle Libres blood sugar levels, running on Smart Phone, working with MiaoMiao Smart Libre. I spoke to someone pretty quick but come to find out that the app works with S10 phones only but not S10e. So I called Abbott after checking on their website to see if they had anything listed under Support/Compatibility section and finding nothing listed on modes or systems. For complete information on a device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. Note that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data with each other. Please check the Compatibility Guide (PDF 69 KB) for more information about device compatibility before using. To receive alarms and glucose readings on your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader, you must start the Sensor with your Reader. The FreeStyle Libre 2 app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. So after checking that all the settings on my phone allowed the app to run, it still would not stay open, it would start to load, then crash again. The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor communicates with the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader that started it or the FreeStyle Libre 2 app that started it. I tried to open it and it would not reopen again. Third party reader app for libre2 : r/Freestylelibre Third party reader app for libre2 So I use the Libre 2 and a rooted phone, and the assholes over at abbott have decided to make the Libre 2 app crash upon opening on rooted phones. When I went to link the phone to the sensor today when they arrived, the app crashed. The results were not very accurate, but that was expected because only few hours passed. I got all the way to linking the sensor to go from there. Then I: Connected to it MiaoMiao2 Activated FreeStyle Libre 1 with eDropletNFC Installed the last version (2020 Jan 15) of xdrip+ (from here: NightscoutFoundation/xDrip) First time that worked and I was so excited. ![]() I logged in and registered and did everything the app required, like turning off the automatic updates, turning off the battery saver mode, and making sure the NFC was on. So I loaded the Libre Freestyle App on my phone, S10e ,2 days ago. ![]()
